Who is Joakim Carlsson?

Joakim Carlsson is a Swedish artist living in Gothenburg and works all
over the world.
He has previous experience in amateur theater and chose during the Covid-19 pandemic 2020 to take advantage of a newly awakened world to change his career to focus more on his passion of acting!

In 2021 he started looking for schools around the world and managed to find Prague Film School where he chose to study in 2022-2023, this became a life-changing experience for him, the unique techniques and mindset he managed to pick up changed him both as a person and as an actor.

Joakim has participated in several short films from his time
at school where he has played characters such as husband, serial killer, businessman, DJ and more.
He has experience in genres such as thrillers, comedy, horror, drama and romance.

Joakim is a flexible actor who constantly strives for new heights in order to bring his characters to life. He immerses himself a lot in his character's routines, mindsets, physical attributes and memories.
If there is something that the character specializes in, Joakim will learn to specialize in that as well.

Outside the artistic life, he enjoys windsurfing, diving, hunting, role playing, video games, traveling and learning about world history.

Joakim is currently taking additional courses to continue developing his creativity and skills.
